I just found out that Billy Joel and Elton John are coming to Salt Lake in November! Let me just say right now that no power on earth can keep me from this concert.

Egg Shaped Goodness
It's about that time again. Easter candy is out. You know how some people gain five pounds over Christmas? That's me at Easter. I love Easter candy. Cadbury creme eggs, mini eggs, robins eggs, Lindt bunnies. Oh, dear. I just bought a bunch at the store two days ago and I've already eaten half of it. Now I'm going to go eat some Cadbury mini eggs while I make dinner.

Happy Aniversary!

But how great is he? These are just a few of the awesome things he does:
- Always takes the trash out.
- Spoons me so I can fall asleep.
- Tells me he loves me literally 100 times a day.
- Remembers to get me chocolate when he gets a Mt. Dew.
- Gives Caleb baths and reads to him.
Then we both ended up on the ballroom team. We hung out with the same group of friends. He helped his best friend ask me to prom. We played cards at his house and drove around in his Karmann Ghia. But we were always arguing and claimed to hate each other.
He graduated and went to the University of Utah. I went on study abroad in London. Upon my return, I attended his mission farewell. And off he went to serve in Colorado Springs.
I didn't write him once. He loves to bug me about that. I went to UVU and studied History.
Then, July 2006, he comes home. Four days later we run into each other at a party we were both dragged to. He gets my number and the next day calls me to hang out.
Our first "date" consisted of getting Slurpees from 7-Eleven and watching Empire Records at my apartment. I hyperventilated the whole time because his hand was so close to my knee.
A week later we were dating. And for the first time in a relationship I was being challanged. Michael was the first to say I love you, the first to mention marriage.
And on October 11, he planned the perfect proposal and asked me to be his wife.
We were married January 13, 2007.
Perfect love story? I think so. Perfect for us.
I love you, Hottie!

Latest Fav

Our favorite thing to snack right now are these lovely tortillas. We pan fry them with shredded cheddar cheese to yummy cheesy quesidillas. Michael makes them best. We eat them morning, noon, and night. (Especially night while we watch a show together :])

Oh, how the years go by
Being the silly kind of sentimental person that I am, I've been thinking lately about the people who mean the most to me. Maybe because it's Christmastime, maybe because tomorrow is Tim's one year mark on his mission. Anyone who has had a sibling on a mission knows that it is wonderful and it greatly blesses your family. The time really does go by quickly. But it doesn't. And having a brother and a sister gone at the same time! Especially when they are two of your best friends in the world. Well, you miss them. There are times when you miss those moments...

So the moral is- even though I'm all "grown up" and am a wife and a mother with a family of my own... I still need my TT and Rayjuice. I couldn't be more pleased that they are out serving the Lord. But I want them to come home soon, so we can do more of this.
